I chose Silvia, the girl who works in the CCA, because when we have classes there or when I have to do a research she lets me do it, she helps me and she takes care of the entire CCA. Her job is also not allowing the students to make a big mess of it. She also solves the problems we have with the computers (and errors). She is always very nice to us too.

Valdir is a teacher here at Pueri Domus. He teaches Physical Education. I chose him because he always talks to us about everything and tells us things which we want to hear as if we were talking to a friend. He does what he has to do but he always finds time to let us play a bit of soccer. He also gives us hints about what we should do to improve, not only in sports, but in anything we talk about. He isn’t afraid of making mistakes and if that happens, he fixes them right away.

Marcelo is a ‘school monitor’ (bedel). He looks after the students when they are not in the classroom. He knows how to help us and he is a very nice person. We feel he is here to help. He is very sociable too. I think he does his work well because he likes children.

I chose ‘Bolinha’ (Heleno) as the best worker in Pueri Domus because he has a nice character and is always in a good mood. He is one of the schools janitors and he is certainly the best at his job. I really like the funny way he talks and he always has a joke to tell. His nickname is Bolinha and it was really an honor to choose him as the best worker.

 Genilson is very important for the students. His job is to look after the students as he is a school monitor. Sometimes he has to act like a second father to the kids. He does his job with pride and respect for all. He words hard to accomplish what he has to. He’s a great monitor. He likes to talk to the students and help them overcome some of their school problems. One time I lost my English books and he was the one who helped me to find them.
