Those
were some of the comments of most of our students. When you listen to
that, the only thing that comes to your mind is ‘it was a success'!!! Apart
from improving their English, the students had a lot of fun going to
many unforgettable places. In
addition, they had the opportunity to meet students from many other
countries. It was nice to see them interacting with French, Mexican,
Colombian, and Japanese teens, among others. They talked about music,
food, and many other cultural characteristics of each country. (Some of
our students taught other students how to dance the forró!)

As
a teacher, I do think this kind of trip (to a country where English is
the first language) is a great way not only to improve the language, but
also to make the students want to know it even more when they come back.
And ... this
is GREAT! Moreover, the fact of being without their parents at a university, meeting students from other countries and getting in contact with the culture of Canada gave them such a rich experience that it can be told and remembered for years to come.
