When it talks about being numb and that he cant feel noone there, is when he feel's that theres no relationship between him and whomever but that he is only there to please this person and aint there as a friend, student, boyfriend/girlfriend, son/daughter, but there as if it were a job, a chore...so they feel nothing between them."
