Reading
and Telling Short Stories
We were told by our (lovely) teacher Kátia to choose one short story among ten she had brought to class. The titles helped us decide which short story we would pick, because they were pretty suggestive. After we chose the stories, we went home and read it. After reading the interesting, mysterious and out of the ordinary stories, we were to present them to our classmates.
The experience of reading the stories was very inspiring because we could learn a lot of vocabulary. The experience of listening was a bit difficult, since we did not understand some of the words, as each student had chosen a different story. We could get the general ideal of each story, though.
Not all the activities give us the chance to learn a lot of vocabulary, but in this one we had the chance to improve a bit, for sure.
